Needlepoint

(Needlepoint Coat: Vintage, Shirt: Vintage, Boots: Nine West, Glasses: Warby Parker, Necklace: Antique)

Etsy never fails in providing the most beautiful, unique pieces, and this vintage needlepoint coat from the 1960s is no exception. The fabric on this incredible coat is nothing short of completely striking. Not only is it floral (my weakness), but also arranged in a brocade pattern (my other weakness). I really don't know how it gets any better... But that's just me.

Casual

(Blazer: Vintage - Similar: here or here / Shirt: 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target - Similar: here or here / Jeans: BDG / Scarf: Gap / Shoes: Thrifted / Bag: Vintage Louis Vuitton / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban)

Casual days call for jeans and comfortable shoes, but I always like to make a comfy outfit interesting by strategically layering with some color and texture.

Chambray & Cheetah

(Coat: Lucky Brand - Similar: here / Shirt: Aeropostale / Dress Pants: my mom's - Similar: here / Shoes: D&G - Similar: here / Bag: Lucky Brand / Socks: J.Crew Factory / Sunglasses: Ray-Ban)

I've always been fond of styles that mix dressy with casual, which was my approach for this look. I paired a very relaxed chambray button-up with a much more tailored pair of dress pants. In addition to the contrasting styles, I also really loved the combination of the light blue and grey. For a bit of pattern and texture, I topped the outfit off with my faux fur cheetah coat. To emphasize the black in the pattern of the coat, I chose some black lace-up shoes. And finally, to give a fun touch to the look, added a pop of color with some red socks.
